Jeffrey Goldstein

Jeffrey was formerly a Managing Director at H&F and served as a Director of numerous portfolio companies including AlixPartners, Arch Capital, Edelman, and LPL, and as an Advisory Board member of Grosvenor. Jeffrey served as a Managing Director at Hellman & Friedman from 2004 to 2009 and 2011 to 2016. From 2009 to 2011, he served as Under Secretary of the Treasury for Domestic Finance and Counselor to the Secretary of the Treasury. In that role, he advised the Secretary on policy issues related to the U.S. banking and financial systems, regulatory reform, financial stability, U.S. housing finance, management of the U.S. Government portfolio of investments in financial institutions and auto companies and related economic and financial matters. Prior to H&F, Jeffrey served as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of the World Bank. Prior to his tenure at the World Bank, Jeffrey was Co-Chairman of BT Wolfensohn and a member of the Bankers Trust Company Management Committee. He held senior management positions and worked with BT Wolfensohn and related companies for more than 15 years. Earlier in his career, Jeffrey taught economics at Princeton University and worked at the Brookings Institution.

Currently, Jeffrey is a Senior Advisor and member of the Investment Committee of Canapi Ventures, a fintech venture capital fund. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. (FIS), and Exeter Finance.
