In 2004, H&F invested alongside management to buy control of Mondrian (formerly, Delaware International Advisors Limited), a London-based value-oriented equity and fixed income money manager, primarily for U.S. institutional clients. H&F completed the sale of its investment in Mondrian in 2011.
