Gartmore Investment Management Limited

In 2006, H&F acquired Gartmore, a London-based leading independent, multi-product asset management firm providing traditional and alternative investment products to retail and institutional investors, from Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. Gartmore completed its initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange in 2009 and was subsequently acquired by the Henderson Group plc in 2011.
