In 2009, H&F acquired Web Reservations (“WRI”), a leading provider of online booking solutions for budget accommodations with a focus on the hostel segment. WRI completed its initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange (with a secondary listing on the Irish Stock Exchange) in 2015 and H&F fully exited its investment in 2016.
