In 2007, H&F acquired Sheridan Healthcare, a leading provider of physician services to hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and other healthcare facilities, primarily in the areas of anesthesiology, neonatology, emergency medicine and radiology. Sheridan Healthcare was sold to AmSurg Corporation in 2014.
